I guess everything would be okay because birds preen their feathers and might get the saliva in their mouths but not guinea pigs.It shouldn't be a problem.

I'm guessing she would be fine, all I know is dog's & cat's saliva on birds is toxic for them so I'm not very sure about guinea pigs.

I don't have any guinea pigs yet but I got my cockatiel to start eating veggies by pretending to eat some on front of him.. He got curious and started nibbling on it and now he loves it! He just doesn't like really watery fruits like watermelon. Maybe you should try that?:)

Thank you so much.. Wow I have never heard about the piggies fighting while reaching puberty. Do females do this too? I am planning on getting females.. Hopefully a mother and a daughter so the ages are mixed.
