Carefresh recently changed their formula and added the baking soda, right? They say it is baked in and not in powder form, so therefore safe. Is it baked in in the SoPhresh, or loose? I was thinking of trying it....

you may want to try using something else to tie it - a thin strip of fleece or yarn or ribbon or something? In my experience zip ties always have that sharp edge where you cut off the extra length. I am always getting scratched by them so I try to point them away from my piggies.
I would never buy boxed treats myself, I know a carrot or red bell pepper is a much better option for my pigs. But, our friends pigsat for us and their three year old misses them so much that her mommy let her pick out these treats for them. And they tried really hard to find the "best" ones...

So did it work? I made my own pouch and am having the same issue. I can't use a hay rack because my husband is allergic to the hay and the pouch keeps the dust down a LOT.
