Does any one purchase hay from Tractor Supply for Guinea Pigs if so what is the name of it?

Here is my cage until I can get a C & C Cage this is for 2 boys

Just a quick question can the cage be made out of wood? And if so what are the size requirements? I have been to bed bath and beyond in my area and they no longer carry the grids in the store have also checked Target and they do not carry them either and would the wood be safe?
