    Rest In Peace Godric

I'm very sorry for your loss. It sounds like you did really well with her. It's so hard losing a friend.

    Joy Happy Birthday, Guys!

I just wanted to send out a birthday wish to @jessieisabel's piggies, Oli and Theo. They had lived with me for a while, now they are with her. I am not sure exactly when their birthdays are, but according to other sources, I am guessing it was early July. Oli is now 2, and Theo is 1. Happy...

Behavior Mr. Nippy! Anyone have naughty, nipping Piggies?!

@jessieisabel I noticed that too when they were here. "Oops! That's not food! Sorry!"

Photos Birthday fit for a cavy slave

@jessieisabel That's just as well. I don't know if I could eat a candy guinea pig. Too real! LOL Now you have a piggy keepsake from your 16th birthday!

Great cake! The guinea pig looks a bit like Theo. Just kidding! LOL Don't let anyone eat it except you, Birthday Girl! :)

    Biting Grid biting no more!

Theo has been living with Oliver since March, and he hasn't learned that habit yet luckily! :)

    Biting Grid biting no more!

I wouldn't worry too much about it. He just gets really excited, and he calms down after a bit.

    Biting Grid biting no more!

Oliver is just silly that's all. I noticed that he tends to overshadow Theo sometimes. I like how you decide to feed him first and wait for Master Oliver to get "down on all fours". You probably noticed already they don't like to share, and that Oliver will go and grab veggies from Theo's mouth...

    Biting Grid biting no more!

It's just Oliver being Oliver. I tried the ignore thing with him, it doesn't work. He's just a silly piggie that's all. Luckily, he doesn't always do it. I am glad though that Theo never picked up that habit.

Beauty! I have a bunch of photos here of those guys, if you would like them. I can give you the best of them.

    Biting Grid biting no more!

@jessieisabel He definately lets you know what he wants. Theodore was always one to just hang back and wait for the food to come to him. I had been working with him on that. I was able to get him to come and eat pellets from my hand. Once he knew the hand wasn't so scary, he was able to eat from...

    Biting Grid biting no more!

That sounds like Oliver to me. He used to do the same thing when he was here. When I'd come into the room with veggies he'd go nuts, banging the bars. He didn't always do it though, just when he could smell the veggies.

    Thanks GPC and Cavy Spirit

Well, my boys, Oliver (Oli) and Colian (now Theo), have now been adopted by @jessieisabel. I was fervently hoping someone on this site would give them a really good cavy savvy home, and someone has! I'd like to thank the people on this forum, and Cavy Spirit, for the wealth of information I have...

    Guinea pig poems!

Aww. That's so cute! It's so cool @jessieisabel named one of the piggies after Theodore in the book. I'll have to look for this title at the library.

    Proud new owner!

Hmm. These guys look awfully familiar! I am so glad you are enjoying them. I certainly did. I am so relieved that they went to such a good home, and to someone on here too! It is just what I wanted, because I know people on here have a lot of experience with piggies. I look forward to more...

These guys are so funny! Anyone else do this? Is it okay fo them to be playing and hiding in the hay?

    Opinions on Hybrid Animals

Agreed. I am not sure what the point of it is. Aren't they always sterile?
