I just wanted to send out a birthday wish to @jessieisabel's piggies, Oli and Theo. They had lived with me for a while, now they are with her. I am not sure exactly when their birthdays are, but according to other sources, I am guessing it was early July. Oli is now 2, and Theo is 1.
Happy...
@jessieisabel That's just as well. I don't know if I could eat a candy guinea pig. Too real! LOL Now you have a piggy keepsake from your 16th birthday!
Oliver is just silly that's all. I noticed that he tends to overshadow Theo sometimes. I like how you decide to feed him first and wait for Master Oliver to get "down on all fours". You probably noticed already they don't like to share, and that Oliver will go and grab veggies from Theo's mouth...

@jessieisabel He definately lets you know what he wants. Theodore was always one to just hang back and wait for the food to come to him. I had been working with him on that. I was able to get him to come and eat pellets from my hand. Once he knew the hand wasn't so scary, he was able to eat from...
That sounds like Oliver to me. He used to do the same thing when he was here. When I'd come into the room with veggies he'd go nuts, banging the bars. He didn't always do it though, just when he could smell the veggies.
Well, my boys, Oliver (Oli) and Colian (now Theo), have now been adopted by @jessieisabel. I was fervently hoping someone on this site would give them a really good cavy savvy home, and someone has! I'd like to thank the people on this forum, and Cavy Spirit, for the wealth of information I have...
Hmm. These guys look awfully familiar! I am so glad you are enjoying them. I certainly did. I am so relieved that they went to such a good home, and to someone on here too! It is just what I wanted, because I know people on here have a lot of experience with piggies. I look forward to more...
