Joy is such a heavy sleeper! I'll walk in the room, and her eyes will just flick open before going back to sleep. I could tell and jump for hours and she wouldn't wake up! Then I'm like, "Joyyy!" And she wakes up like that!

Yup! It's natural for guinea pigs to sleep with their eyes open. It's so they can watch for prey and such. When they're really relaxed, they'll close their eyes. It's so lovely(: How long have you had him?

It's beyta. I had a Beta fish for like.. EVER until a few years ago when he passed away(RIP Bobby). So make sure your in for the long haul! I think that we had him in a 10 gal. tank with a fliter and plants to hide in. I LOVE the blue ones, they're gorgeous!

I had the same problem with my piggie, Joy. Everyone said that no, it's not harmful and all you have to do is take a moist towel and clean their feet off everyday. As to the cause of them getting poop stuck on their feet, it could just be the shape of the foot. Some shapes make poop more easily...
