    Feet Extra Toe? Mite treatment?

Fleece bedding, only hay, litter pan (with a small entrance with no wall), igloo and food bowl in the cage. I'm a little worried about it catching on the fleece. I made sure everything was smooth as possible.

    Feet Extra Toe? Mite treatment?

I called the vet. He said he would tie it off. The babies don't need to be treated for mites. Mama is getting the third and final treatment.

    Feet Extra Toe? Mite treatment?

Ebony had her babies this morning, and no I did not breed her. One of the babies has an extra toe on the hind foot. It looks like it's hanging by a thread. What should I do? Will it be okay until Monday? Momma's last mite treatment is then, and should the babies be treated for mites? Sorry those...

C&C Make the cage look like a jungle?

Thank you for the safety tips. We are making our own tiki huts from the apple tree. We are hanging wide strips of fleece, kind of like a towel tent, in jungle colors.

C&C Make the cage look like a jungle?

Thanks for the cage ideas! I do understand what you mean about the fleece. I was searching for another girl to adopt. After about 2 weeks of looking we realized she was pregnant. We are keeping the babies. Hopefully one is a girl so she can have a cage mate. If they are all boys we will resume...

    C&C Really excited!

I live in a really rural area. It took me 2 months to find good grids. I found coroplast Home Depot. They are small sheets, I just bought caulking for plastic. You have to let it cure for 24 to 48 hours. It's about $7 per sheet. It would take 2 to do a cage that side, but please change the...

C&C Make the cage look like a jungle?

My husband wants the cage to look like a jungle without taking away too much floor space from our gp's:?:. We are expanding the cage so the boys have 2 levels of 2x5 with our girl having 1 level 2x5. Any suggestions?

    General Sunlight?

I open the blinds got a few hours a day. The sun only shines on part of the cage so they don't have to be in the sun if they don't want to.

OH NO! My grids are too big - can't take them back!

I made the same mistake. Thankfully I was able to use the large grids for the stand the cage is on. K-Mart has a new brand called SToR (with a - over the o). They are 9x9 grids. I am redoing the cage as I unknowingly adoped a pregnant guinea pig. I have to take out all of the 8x8 grids and...

    Finally! Outsmarted.......

I had that problem, too. I used a piece of coroplast to block the side so the boys couldn't get in there.
