Down at the bottom of each page is where it says what version of vbulletin the forum is running on, in this case: vBulletin 3.8.1
But, I'm using Firefox & have no problems whatsoever. I think its probably in your settings somewhere.
There are always Humane Societies, which often don't put guinea pigs up on Petfinder...at least I haven't seen many! But I got my first GP from Lexington Humane Society, and my second GP from (broken link removed) near Cincinnati. Their rescue is WONDERFUL if you're willing to make the drive...
My female is definitely more dominant than my male pig, and she is the head of the house even though we had him first! I wish they'd be better friends now too, but we've had them together for 4 months & she just likes being Queen Bee with her Minion instead of two peas in a pod.
If the guinea pigs are even going to be in the same room then you should quarantine them in case of any airborne viruses, mites, or fleas. After the quarantine period you can move them into the same room & introduce them to your two existing pigs.
I don't know much about stacking the cages...
I use mine to store all my guinea pig's things...their travel bags, extra towels, hay, food, vet receipts, etc. Just everything that has to do with the pigs goes in there & under the desk their cage is on.
My wonderful Banfield vet has never recommended Iams or Purina, and when I first got my dog she'd been fed Beneful by the rescue & my vet strongly urged me to seek a better brand (and even gave me suggestions & ideas on where to buy them, none of which were available from PetSmart.)
Vet offices...
According to the link below (found here on the site) guinea pigs ideal room temperature is a stable temp between 65-75 degrees Fahrenheit (18-24 degrees Celsius).
Cage Location
Even if the temperature in the room is a good temperature, I'm more concerned with the draft your pigs might be...
I think my local Banfield is great too, but its not associated with PetSmart other than being in the same physical location. I know that there are lots of people that hate Banfields for it-and it definitely gets a bad reputation because its so nationally known and the bad experiences are far...
When I got my female Paige she did not want to eat ANY veggies! I did as Ly suggested by trying just one or two different kinds of veggies at first and it took almost 3 weeks before she started eating romaine & green peppers. We've had her for about 6 weeks now & she will eat lots of different...
I like the name Sebring! :)
I'm hoping to get a guinea pig webkinz for my birthday in a few weeks. I currently have 11, but their names are not really that interesting at all:
Ding (Bulldog)
Dart (Leopard)
Cara (Panda)
Cami (Elephant)
Cork (Tiger Snake)
Blue (Toco Toucan)
Chic (Duck)
Odin...
Maybe he's just a bored piggie!? Bless his pea-pickin' heart, he's anxious for a new buddy. Maybe rotate some new toys in & out of his cage to vary his routine a bit?
I wouldn't think that he's bored with his pellets, but instead that he might still be hungry? Do you also feed him unlimited hay throughout the day? And are you feeding him a variety of veggies on a regular schedule? I consider pellets more as supplements to the hay/veggie intake for my pigs...
I have a whole bunch of webkinz (and so does my boyfriend's daughter) but no manatees yet. His daughter's Mom has a Manatee that she just calls Manny, but thats probably far too obvious for your little one.
