I am going to check my local shelter but the last few times the have not had any guinea pigs. I will probably adopt from them because they are over capacity and they are no kill. I would also like to say thank you to everybody for giving me advice!

I agree with you 100%. When people tell me that they may want a guinea pig I tell them that they are hard work similar to a dog, and to rescue one and do a ton of research. Also it is very very sad that children lose interest in guinea pigs, and they end up getting dumped with illnesses.

I don’t know why, but vet recommended that I would be better off with females with my females instead of a male and my females. I also relate about thinking about the amount of males.
