    Uh, it's not necessarily a must, just a preference. I read that it's better to get babies because they can grow more attatched to you if they know you when theyre young, and a lot of people preferred females to males, soo thats how I got to where I am.

    Umm I'm not sure... it looks like someone's guinea pig had babies and they can't take care of them all? I looked at all the adoption centers in my area and none of them had any baby females :(
