Well it's just a TON of work. But I love them do it's worth it to me.
The only thing that I could say is that I use 4 layers of uhaul instead of two. When I only used two layers I had to do a cage change every other day. Now that I've started using 4 layers I only change it twice a week...

I use uhaul pads under the fleece. Luckily I don't have diggers so I don't have to worry about pinning or how to keep the fleece down.

I have 12 pigs in one cage so I am just speaking from my experience but I have never had a problem doing an intro no matter how many pigs. I have 3 sets of 2 sisters that I have added over time (so half my herd).

No bedding is not cheaper....it's way more expensive. Also, you do NOT have to replace fleece every few weeks. I have used the same fleece for over a year and it still works/looks perfectly fine. You are giving out incorrect information.
I have 3 small bowls (ten pigs in the cage) and one pig will tip all three over. She doesn't do it for attention. She just prefers the pellets on the floor so she can lay down and eat. Lol!! Silly piggy!
