I can't build up as I don't have any more cubes/coroplast to do that, and I can't buy any more as my partner won't let me. They seem fine at the moment, I'll keep a close eye on them.

There's no need to tell me about hamsters :sarcastic I've owned them for quite a while now (currently own 15) and I have a very popular site about hamsters too. All syrians that I have seen in PAH and have been very young.

The hamsters there are young and can be kept in groups up to 8 weeks of age as long as there is no fighting.

I just made their cage bigger a couple of weeks ago into a 3x4 L shape with a second level. We haven't go any space to make the cage any bigger. They're both quiet for the moment but Max is staying well away from Caramel.

The problem is I don't have anywhere to put them to seperate, I haven't got space to make another C&C cage. The only way would be to split their current cage but that would mean they would get 2x2 each, which isn't really much space :(

I have two male guinea pigs who are about 11 months old. Caramel will sometimes chase Max around but today it's got a lot worse. Caramel attacked Max and they ended up in a ball fighting. Max now has a bite mark on his back and caramel still won't stop chasing him. Do they both need seperating...

Well I finally got the rest of my materials today for making my new piggie cage, it's similar to my old one just extended a little. It's took me about 6 hours today to make it all up on my own! Anyway here are the pictures of the new piggie castle... Hay area:

Well I've finally managed to get hold of some cubes and I've now made a great cage for my piggies. They seem to love it so far, Max especially loves to lay down in the cuddle cups in the loft. It took me about 3 hours to make it all, you can see pictures here...

If you said you were willing to buy online then I could have gave you some links. They're a lot cheaper than Glitters rip off prices.

The brain damage thing isn't true, they may damage the teeth if they become obsessed with bar chewing but most of the time bar chewing is good as long as they don't do it too much as it helps to keep their teeth short.

If mine are out having floor time when it's time for their veggies they'll follow me to the kitchen as soon as I take their bowl and they'll stand at the kitchen door and wheek until the veggies are ready...lol I think that's how my budgie managed to copy the wheeking sound from them :P
