Rabbits How do I help this person to understand that guinea pigs and rabbits/bunnies.........

I went in the petstore here in town and they had housed 2 guinea pigs with a rabbit and everytime I've went in there, they have a different rabbit in there. I think that was their way of trying to sell the guinea pig. You know, showing that they can house together. I'm in the middle of a...

Rabbits Rabbits vs. Guinea Pigs...comparing the two pets

I like the fact that Rabbits can litter train, although there was a litter under my GP's hay, food and water, so a lot of the poop went into the litter. Guinea pigs definately bond fast with you and eachother. They are both adorable when they are happy (binky and popcorn) The Neuter/Spay thing...

    Rabbits cage size limited space

Ok, it doesn't get too hot where I'm moving. It does rain a lot, I understand Rabbit don't like to get wet. Maybe I can get a canopy of some sort. I'll try my best to get them out as much as I can for floor time. We're staying with family for a few weeks, so I hope to make them as comfortable as...

    Rabbits cage size limited space

Hello, I have 2 bunnies and will be moving to a home with VERY limited space. It will only be a few weeks. I know I can build up! How small is WAAAAAY too small. I'll be tending to them all day everyday until we get into our new home. I'm looking for a home to accomodate them as best I can...

    Rabbits bonding rabbits

I am a little worried about putting them in together only after one bunny date. They do good on neutral territory. You might want to wait at least one more. It's just my suggestion. Mine did great their first bunny date but the older one was shooing the younger one away from everything she was...

    Rabbits bonding rabbits

Sounds like they did great. It's a good thing they are both spayed. It would help if there is two of everything too, of course the vinager, a few new things and of course monitered. I've tried to bond but held off until they are both spayed. Mine are still babies (under a year). I hope it all...

    Rabbits My New Adopted Rabbit

Congratulations on your new bunny. I spend a lot of time on Removed - we do not allow links with breeding how-to info or those celebrating breeding. I learned a lot on there and this site is very great for cages. Welcome.

    Rabbits new pen added today

Ya I have litterboxes in their cags and I think I'm going to give it a go (putting their poop in the litter) they have hay in there and they go in there, but only sometimes. I've got to try a little harder. I did the tarp and layers but I there is still 5 x 2 x 2 around the cage. Not big enough...

    Rabbits new pen added today

Thank you so much Sliverbeat. That is an excellent idea about the tarp, cardboard and other layers. My brain has been ticking away since I woke up this morning. I went garage saling and bought I newer carpet for our living room floor and the one we're using now, can go in the room. No they are...

    Rabbits new pen added today

I think I'm going to move them into their own room, I just need to clean out the room. My two children are going to share a room, they have their own but never sleep seperate so they can share and the buns can have a free range room. QUESTION THO?? How would it be to have a free range room if...

    Rabbits new pen added today

3 x 3 x 2 and yes they seem sooo much happier and safe inside. Once they are comfrtable enough with the whole family I can leave it open again.

    Rabbits new pen added today

Is this big enough? I would have it open but I'm assuming they need their own space (I have a toddler) and maybe don't feel comfortable yet roaming all over our whole living area. I've always had their cage open when I'm home but they rarely come out. They seem to be super happy with the pen so...

Rabbits C/C cage questions- how big?

I know It's just how it is until they are fully bonded and they are doing very good. I actually opened the middle up today because they have been doing so well, that's why I'm at still at 1:30 in the morning. They have the pen as well, plus a petstore cage they go in and sniff around: so it's 6...

Rabbits C/C cage questions- how big?

I think it is great. My bunnies are in 3 by 2 each but they have 3 grids high and ramps. I am bonding them at the moment so when they are able to be in the same cage I will put them together and add more if possible. I think that your bunny is very lucky. :D

Rabbits When is it safe to put 2 bunnies in the same cage.

It has been 2 weeks and they are doing great together. I haven't moved them into the same cage. I may when they are both spayed but they are too young yet.

Rabbits Can my 2 1/2 month old bunny eat veggies?

Can my baby bunny eat veggies. I have been giving her lettuce and now I've been reading it's not ok and it is ok. Anybody know??? She's a lionhead. I don't give her lots, just a piece when I feed the guinea pigs.:?:
