The tops are really easy to make out of grids... If you zoom in on the pictures in the store you can see how they put them together. All you would need are grids and zip ties. Your cage looks great! I love your fleece choice!

Perfect!! I will do the bottom one but have all 3 fold down. And I think I have come up with an ingenious extrernal ramp!!! The grids are bent, just waiting for my hubby to bring home more zip ties lol!!! Thanks for your help everybody! My back thanks you!!!

Morning everybody! I was going through the "show me your cage' pics and saw a really neat cage that the front dropped right down and I believe was held up with magnets. I don't know how to do it or if it will work with our cage. Does anybody have any ideas? On fleece changing day I am killing...

Jdude, Could you please write out some instructions on how you made your ramp? I have a ramp I bought from this site and I love it. I would like to run it alongside the outside of the cage like you and we have cats..... They also pee on it so I would need to figure out something for that too...

Good post! I have been dealing with the same thing. I have two kitchens with hay bags so hay isn't a huge problem but the hair!!! I use a hand vac but it doesn't do a great job on the hair.

I believe if you look under the fleece forum there is an awesome step by step tutorial.

Just be careful not to make it too snug. I made that mistake and it is tricky to put the base back in when it has the fleece on. You have to account for the plastic joiner thingies. Very technical lol!

I have fleece that goes over the sides and a folded over uhaul pad that goes under. It lasts a week and has no smell in a 2x3 with 2 guinea pigs. I wash them separately so I don't get fuzzies on the fleece :0D. Hope this helps!
