ok so I thought I'd update you all and say I've decided to go for it! I've emailed the centre to let them know so now I'm just waiting for them to get back to me! I hope they say yes. I should pass the home visit right? I'm really nervous and they havent even got back to me yet.

My guinea pig has ears that look like they have had the edges chewed but theres no dryness or anthing else. Is this normal?? could he have had an infection previously? or could he have been chewed up a bit before I got him?

We have plenty of space and (by me accidentally ordering two boxes of cubes instead of one) plenty of cubes to make a bigger cage. I was going to extend the boys cage to a 3x4 anyway so i could make it a 3x5 which would be big enough for three. See thats the only thing thats putting me off...

Well we got up this morning and looked in Stanleys cage and he wasnt there!! I was running round panicking until my boyfriend walked in and found him under the fleece in his cage so now we've had to go out and buy new fleece which is big enough to clip over the edges so he cant get under it...

Well we've raised the sides and put a lid on now, I've also put his cozies under where he climbs the most, in case he does fall. Apart from making the whole side covered if you know what I mean, I dont see what else we can do. Hopefully he'll calm down a bit when hes introduced to Pablo in two...

Poor Pablos had to sacrfice his second level to make a lid for Stanleys cage, at least until they can go in together in two weeks. Pablo never did anything like that, I didnt think guinea pigs culd climb vertically...

He's finally in! I ended up hiding on the sofa so he couldnt see me and using a knitting needle to quickly close the door. Hes in such a mood though he squeeking like crazy cos I've made a lid for his cage. Hes actually climbing up and hanging off it though..he's crazy
