So the boys have been getting along better (yay!) but Shelby (5 months) just started humping/mounting Matisse today (seriously, this just started this morning and I haven't had a quiet moment since). It is RIDICULOUS. Matisse puts up with it but wheeks/shrieks to let Shelby know he's annoyed...

You just got them 6 weeks ago and I'm assuming your C&C is new, not one they were already in? It could just be new environment, establishing new dominance in new territory, getting used to a new place, etc... That's what I would think anyway. I'm sure someone with more experience could chime in. :)

I haven't been able to upgrade just yet but I cleaned the cage yesterday and made some changes. I removed all hideys and just made fleece canopies. It's working out great. While they were in the play area while I did this which is MUCH bigger than my cage (and again, no hideys), I still heard...

The width of a full/double bed is 54", I could go a tad past that on either side.

No unfortunately I had to move back in with my mother and the only other room that is "mine" gets way too hot during the day. I know how I can have them in my room with a bigger cage I'm just trying to visualize where other things would go lol.

K. This will take some thinking then cuz the only spot I have in my room for a bigger cage is right in front of my windows. Too drafty.
