    Vegetables Zucchini

Actually... I'm wondering... Would there be anything wrong with putting all their veggies in the processor and chopping them up real fine? That way the pepper would get so mixed it there really wouldn't be a choice...

    Vegetables Zucchini

I know, we're still working on the pepper intake, no worries! They get it daily but the little boogers nose around it. I think I may have to unpack my food processor and get it chopped up even finer.

I just switched my boys to Oxbow Adult this weekend and I thought they were poo monsters before, wow you should have seen the piles I woke up to from Shelby this morning! Shelby is under 6 months but I supplement calcium intake with extra parsley as suggested by bpatters. Matisse is one year so...

    Pellets True Newbie Question...

By the way random thought of the night... Anyone else remember that amoxicillin you'd get when you were a kid that was pink liquid and tasted/smelled like bubble gum? This Baytrill totally reminds me of that lol. The smell brings back many memories of doctor visits hoping I'd get that amazing...

    Pellets True Newbie Question...

This is what my vet put my boys on: Oxbow Animal Health | Essentials - Adult Guinea Pig Food I'm so excited because searching through that site and checking what stores carry their products, it looks like the pet store I used to work at carries their whole line of stuff! Yay! I like the thought...

    Pellets True Newbie Question...

I asked my vet this yesterday and she said it was fine for both to be on the timothy pellets. Shelby is about 4 months though, so maybe they are close enough to have the same? If this is wrong someone please correct it before I throw out the old pellets!

    Pellets True Newbie Question...

Cool, thanks. It's only about $13 from the vet so I'll probably just keep getting it from there since I'm over that way quite a bit. I'll check out those sites though. Thanks guys!

    Pellets True Newbie Question...

Per the vet's recommendation I have switched the boys over to Oxbow pellets. I purchased the bag from the vet, on the front it says Oxbow. I went to Petco tonight to pick them up a couple toys and decided to check out the bags of food for price comparison (Petco is obviously cheaper). I did find...

Fresh Food SCARED TO VARY FRESH FOOD! plz help!

I'm kind of in the same rut. I'm finding too many contradictions in regards to what they can have and how much and have decided I will just be discussing this with my vet when I go in next Wednesday. I trust his opinion and will go with what he says.

Diet Is this a good guinea pig menu??

I cut cherry tomatoes into 4ths, not just halves. This is the only way mine will eat them and even then, he'll stare at it a good while, eat his other veggies first, and save the tomato for absolute last like "Well, I'm still hungry, guess I don't have a choice." The first couple days I made him...

Diet Bell pepper or no bell pepper?

Thank you for your super fast response! I'll pull the Romaine immediately and pick up some other lettuce on the way home from work. If he's only had Romaine for about a week and a half (not even every day) should I be concerned? And what should I watch out for as far as symptoms of kidney...
