Base of cage - Guinea Pig Cages

very nice. They dont seem to have any openings like the grids for ventilation. This may hinder you if you decide to building on top.

They aren't closed, I should take a picture from one grid very close and then you can see there wouldn't be any problems with the ventilation. They now live in one of those Duna-cages... so I know how worse bad ventilation can be

Yeah it's like a mesh so there is still plenty of ventilation.

I also have the mesh grids and i like them because when bubble guine runs none of the bedding flies(sp) out and he can't chew on hings right outside of the cage.

I had no choice for cubes but I think they are great because of that too! I see your cage looks about the same as mine! But you made a very nice ramp

You can get them at Linens and Things. Around $20 a box of 16. I just bought some for my ferret cage. If I keep buying grids I will have to start asking for boxes of them as gifts, lol. They can see out and we can see in just fine. Venilation is great. Love the cage, your 2 piggies will be happy in there.

i-love-nev : in the UK you can order them online from Eden (https://www.edenshop.co.uk/erol.html#2406x0). They cost £30 including p+p for one packet of 16, but it works out cheaper if you order more packs.
I got my grids from them and they are fairly good. And the cheapest I've found sadly.
