D: SHAME!
I hope by now you've gotten some news and that your guinea pig is well! And do believe in Freddie, that he will be alright and okay. I'm sure that's what he would've wanted you to do.
It might be mites or lice, but today he seems to be a lot more calmed (though losing fur) and guess what I found?
Two bloody spots near his lower back! There's nothing on his ears though. I fear that the female bit him or scratched him!! :( He looks extremely fragile and doesn't trust anyone at...
So today I was in my room when I heard some fearful squeaking. I rush to my guinea pig's cage and I find out that my aggressive female guinea pig has climbed into my 2-month-old baby male guinea pig's side of the cage. I then remove the female, and then find that my guinea pig has lost a LOT of...
Okay, thanks! I'll take that into consideration. I'm sure a towel would be okay. How many towels do you have for the pigs, and have there ever been any problems with it?
I'm trying my best, but it's not working- evidently. -_- And the newspaper makes it a bit easier to clean, but I'll take that to consideration anyway. Right now I'm trying to think what would work better than straw. I'm buying a hayrack soon. Thank you for your effort to contribute!!
OK, thanks! Now that really helped a lot! ;)
So my Dad says we're going to the pet store now to get Carefresh. He blames the flies and insects on the bad bedding (which consists of just some straw, puppy pads and newspaper linings). So off we go! I'll try to get that on the way.
Okay. But we gave them a bath about 5 days ago, is it better to give them a bath now?
And how do I treat them? Using a comb? I cannot go to the pet store now.
