She was always the quiet one but shes quieter than usual, I adopted 3 new sisters for her..but so far she doesnt seem to be getting along well with them. Patiently trying to get them to interact...

Injury Guinea Pig Jumped Out of Hand and Isn't Acting Normally

I would recommend that you take her ASAP~ she could have broken something, is there no way you could bring her to the vet? she MIGHT not make it in 3 days especially if she stops eating. Have you tried cleaning it with a moist cotton bud? (Qtip). My piggy once had something similar, and most of it came off after using a moist cotton bud

    Behavior A comfy pillow tent

I hand sewn a fleece pillow sheet that I could insert hand towels into (and change them when needed) but they didn't seem too interested in the pillow. I ended up improvising and somehow accidentally turned it into a pillow-tent-home hehe.. My piggies love it! They're always fighting for it...

Nails/Nail Trimming How To Cut Nails?

I normally get the help of a family member to hold my piggies while I cut their nails using a nail clipper for cats. If you hold them up close to a light source you can actually see their flesh easier. My little Butter has black nails on her back feet haha. Those are a little tricky. But looking...

    Cleaning Absorbent Layer under fleece

That's interesting. Do wood pellets turn mushy? Or stick to the fleece ? I've never used wood pellets before. Just randomly checked some available online stores . Could not find kiln. But the cheapest pinewood pellets I could find were about (if I convert my currency to USD) $1.50 per kg

    Cleaning Absorbent Layer under fleece

I knoww, it is pretty silly isnt it? But you know, the whole "animals are not clean" the older folks have. Thanks haha, I'll keep that in mind. Folks here can be pretty sensitive about everything.

    Cleaning Absorbent Layer under fleece

Haha! Honestly, I think when I was a baby my mum probably still hand washed everything. We didn't actually get a washing machine until I was about 10 maybe lol I would also totally consider wood pellets here, but where I live most of the pellets available are made from pine, and also they're...
