I think you're supposed to put it in a large, wide, uncovered container and let it air out for a few days. By the way, you can just use the pine (after you air it out) as a bottom layer under the kiln-dried. That way, your pigs wouldn't be directly on it.

Ah... mine doesn't like dill that much. They like the stems, but leave the leaves strewn around.
