when i got my new piggie, i introduced them in a neutral place. on the floor,or in the bath(empty lol) and they seemed fine, i cleaned the cage with disinfectant fresh sawdust, cleaned al lthe bits in the cage too and put them back in and they was fine, it takes time.

if you are using fleece, i tried to use fleece in my c&c but after a full day it smelt like mad. i dont know whether it was because i did it wrong or because my piggies just like to urinate but what ever it was i could not cope with and had to change back to shavings!

anybody else in the uk interested ??

there is lots of pet store cages in the one near me, they sold me one it cost me £130 when i was a newbie at it and i got totally ripped off alls they cared about was the money. i would not buy my piggies from there no more, i tend to buy my woodshaving's from there but i am going to start going...

We have a local courior here who ships out for cheap we use for work. I could get intouch with them about international shipping how much it would cost etc but i would need to know what kind of cage you would want, as i would need to know the weight of the items etc. The cubes would come...

That is something i would look into entirely depends on how much shipping would cost i would have to check that out! But it could be a possibility. I will message her but i have built my own c&c and it is very safe have a look in my topics and you will see it!

Id send them with instructions on how to build it up he correx would be cut to size too

Hi all, Been reading up on a few posts about people not being able get c&c cages in the uk, i am thinking of starting to make custom buikt cages if anybody would be interested ?

There is a page on here where it shows you how to make the correx box, my cage is 56" x 28" so i cut my correx at 68" x 40" so it would then fold up 6" eithrr side, i then taped the corners up and its secure then you build the cage around it, they wil not fit down the sides of it because its up...

You dont need a floor if you are putting correx down.

My advice to you is build the correx box first, then build the cage around it. Good luck :)

Yes you do, they come with clips and cable ties. You choose which ones you prefer i like the clips as i can take it apart as and when i need to.
