I am in the same situation I felt bad and seperated them I hope that was ok. I feel for you it is very stressfull!

I am stressed the younger one is the dominate one and they (the younger one) is making alot of weird noises I don't know if it is good or bad so I separated them but there cages are next to each other and the younger one is freaking out! help!!!

I was looking on a local shelter in my area and I found one that I would like to adopt, the vet says patches is in good health but I should give him some med's for a week or so to make sure that he is healthy. Should I get a GP now and put him in a serparate cage next to patches so they can get...

Thanks maybe it will just take more time for him to get used to the surroundings (how long do you think) and when can I tell he is used to it? He is always hiding is this common? I slowly learning there behavior.

Sorry that it has taken me so long to read your message, (I just lost one of my GP's) But how can you tell if they are not stressed everytime there is a noise or somebody walks into the room he runs and hides in his hidy house. I can't tell when he is happy or scared?

Thank you I will check that out as soon as my vet say's everything is ok with patches. How long do you think I should wait to find him a friend after he is cleared through the vet?

Thanks I was not aware that i could adopt GP's at a shelter were dogs and cats are adopted, I will check that out. And also I found out the hard way on purchasing pets at a store (pet mart) that is were I purchases my GP's and I believe that is how oreo was infected.
