what type of vinagar do you use? plain white??

I'm not a fan of vinegar that is why I'm cringing a when it comes to the wash. I have a high Efficiency washer and have to be careful of what I ad to it and honestly vinegar smell makes my stomach turn. Is it possible to use a small amount of bleach instead of vinegar when washing the fleece?

What about odor? I have read mixed reviews on the odor control of fleece. I have two intact males does their urine tend to smell stronger?
