My guys LOVE the stalky parts. And I will give them the "heart" all at once when we get to it. It has the tender little leaves and lots of stalky bits and they devour the whole thing!

Lots of people recommend chopping the veggie you want to get the piggie to eat into tiny bits and sprinkling it over their pellets. That way they can't help but eat some and they will get used to the taste!
