I am sorry for your loss, too. We lost a piggie too, and her cage mate was very scared and sad. We made sure that the remaining pig got lots and lots of attention cuddles, and love from us until we were ready to give her a new friend, and they get along just fine now.

He is sooooo cute! I love his hair-do! ;)

We have 2 females in a larger cage, and one male in a smaller cage--not all in together, the male is older and I am a little afraid he might hurt the younger females. The two girls in the cage get along pretty well, though. :)

I hadn't thought of mites, but she generally sniffs our fingers before she takes a chomp of them so that's why I thought it was a behavioral issue.
