I'm hoping to find an easy clean water bottle for my girls (wide opening). Shopping online is a challenge BC it seems ALL water bottles have mixed reviews. It's also hard to tell which stoppers they are, ball vs valve. I have an old lixit bunny bottle that is super easy to clean with a top fill design but it has the valve my piggies don't know how to use!
Any recommendations, or brands to avoid would be helpful!
Right now we have the petco brand bottle that came with one of my piggies & although it's not much of a leaker, cleaning seems impossible!!

I use that bottle for my dog. It is a very good bottle, and never leaks.

I think the nozzle is too big for guinea pigs.

Thank you! I was afraid of that.

Always know that if the water bottle gets algae growth in it, you can put some uncooked rice in the bottle with some water and shake it up. It gets rid of the algae easily!!!

I've never heard this before! I'll have to try it with my bottles. Do you leave the rice in for a while or just shake it up and dump it out?

I just have a Petco brand water bottle because it was the cheapest one the had when I bought it. I just clean it out with soap, hot water and scrub it out with a bottle brush otherwise I get algae buildup. I have another bottle from Walmart that was really cheap that I just keep as a backup.
