For the ramp, I bought a 2' long, 6" wide piece of wood and 2 2' long, 4" wide pieces of wood for the sides. Then I just hot-glued the sides onto the ramp and drilled a few small holes at the top to secure the ramp to the upper grid with zip ties. The ramp surface itself is bamboo. I found the bamboo at Wal-Mart for like $1.50. It was about the size of a place mat and was with the shelf lining materials. I cut it to the width of the ramp with scissors, and since it has string holding it together, I just used that to tie it to the ramp. It took all of 10 minutes to assemble. It was very easy to make, and I have found that the bamboo is much easier to keep clean than fabrics and such.
