Thank you!
First, I took a rectangle of decorative fabric that was twice as long lengthwise as I wanted the final cozy to be, plus about 6-8 inches longer also.
I also made it 1" or so extra around the outside of the rectangle, for sewing space.
Then, I cut a peice of comfy fabric such as faux sheepskin of the same size.
I put the wrong sides together and sewed together around the outside, leaving a small space somewhere around it. Then, I turned it inside out and handsewed the hole closed. That is so that you wont see stiches.
Then, I folded it over the long way, so it is starting to look like a pocket. Fold it with the soft inside facing out. Sew the edges so that the two sides are sewed, the bottom is a fold, and the top is open. Fold the top over a few inches for a decorative edge and there you go! If you have an embroidery sewing machine or a skilled hand, you can put your pig(s) name on it! I believe your piggies' names are Safrone, Ginger, Patches, and Teddy? Cute!
It took them a while to get used to it but then they loved it.
They may pee in it, so you may have to replace it unless you feel comfortable putting it in the washing machine.
Good luck and I cant wait to see how it turns out!
