SNICKERS AND BROWNIE'S NEW HOME (TOP FULL VIEW) - Guinea Pig Cages

My husband and I finished up their cage. I can't quite call it C&C because its still missing the coroplast. We adopted them on a weekend...so we're calling sign shops tomorrow (Monday) to ask about coroplast. So you can say this is "temporary"!

I wonder if this size is OK. I know that
I think it looks great. Later, you may want to think about using mattress pads instead of towels because they really absorb, are soft under the fleece and don't get heavy when their wet like towels do. I bought my mattress pads at Ross. If you just remove the towels later on, what will absorb the urine?

I think too, the reason for the 4 grid length is for them to have running room.

My boyfriend and I got the same shelves from LOWE'S and they work great! I'm posting my pictures in a few days. I think it was much easier than the cubes. We simply took a 6 foot piece and had it cut in half to make the width and then (2) two four foot pieces to make the length. Our piggies love it!
