doesn't seem to big, mine's a little less than double that and I have 2. You should get some hammocks and/or stuff for them to rest on. Even cardboard works as a temp.
Um- that is a cage that was just completed- no furniture, no rats. You people always jump to conclusions. And I think if you put thoise measurements into a rat cage calculator, you will find it is more than adequate for 2 rats. TRy reading.
Your description doesn't say it was just completed, maybe you should have wrote it wasn't completed yet, or not posted a pic till it was done. Hopefully since it is just completed you haven't put in solid floors yet.
Do you see any rats in the cage? That should kind of tell you that it is not yet being used.
DO you see how old that original post is? Do you really think those rats are even still alive? That cage hasn't even existed in months. Not to mention- is stupid to say rats can't live on bar floors. The most expensive rat cages and the best are made with bar floors FOR A REASON. Bar floors are best- cleaner- you give them places to rest not on wire, but your information is wrong- you obviously lack rat experience.
