Patches - Guinea Pig Cages

  • landhermie
RIP Patches. I loved you. Reason for death was unknown.
Err... why is this pig on its back with no support? See how it's twisted around like that? They do that when they're trying (and failing) to right themselves. Please don't do this with your future pigs.

I am so sorry for your loss.

daft, I find your post really insensitive. Yes, I agree she shouldn't have her guinea pig like that, but this user is posting a picture of their deceased guinea pig and you say that really rudely and rate it a 1? Try and have a heart.

I don't think she put the piggie on it's back...
It sounds like you're accusing her of that.

Time to edit expired but I was going to say it also looks like her back foot is resting on the owners abdomen.

I think this person did put the piggy on it's back.
A guinea pig cannot roll itself. Even if it tried. It is VERY difficult for a guinea pig to do so.

EVEN IF this photo was captured at the moment the guinea pig lost balance and grip on it's owner's clothes. The picture should not have been posted. We are a forum dedicated to showing cavy slaves(not the forum stat) how to properly care for their guineas. And this isn't showing proper care.

Now before you get all mad at me for the above statements, clear your mind. Think of how we strive for the best guinea care possible. Now think of a dog breed book. Example, pugs. What if that book had obese pugs on every single page? A random person would think it is okay for a pug to be obese.

OP, I am sorry you lost your beloved pig. I do wish you would replace this picture with a more appropriate one to honor it's memory. May your beloved piggy rest in peace.
