Did you have to add supports or are the grids strong enough on their own? It looks awesome and study! I was trying to figure out how you open the upper levels for cleaning but now I think I see binder clips, are those where your access doors are?
yes the binder clips are the doors. there is a door in center bottom level and third level and one on either side on the middle level. The grids are pretty sturdy but it seems after time they will sag some so had to put support along the center of the levels.
wow... your cage is awesome. I have a ton of extra grids and I would love to make a third story on mine since I have no room to go horizontal.... but I'm short and I cant imagine trying to reach the third level!!!
