So, are you still using the stronger 6mm coroplast? It looks like the only support for the 2nd level/bottom is the outer grids and then the grids separating the 2 2x5s on the bottom?So this, combined with a base layer under the 2nd level is adequate support? Would you recommend that or is it too soon to tell? Great job, by the way!

I do still only use the 6mm coroplast. The second level is not only held up by the grids seperating all the cages and kitchens, but it has quarter round moulding under the second level of the cage to help support the entire cage. I can still remove all the grids on the bottom two levels with the exception of the kitchen areas which I have just left the top open for easy access. Everything is also cable tied to help keep it strong. My cage is very secure and does not move or sag and I have actually had this size cage since August 2006.

I would definately recommend making a cage that has extra support like this so you can remove the front grids and slide the pans right out, otherwise it would be too hard to keep it clean and take care of the pigs.
