Hey do you mean the big white hay box or the wee small one ? Well the big one is 6 inches high and I put a wee square 2 inches up as a door because it keeps more of the hay and bedding in ! Yeah sure go ahead !
Yeah my fleece is usually a mess !! That pic was taken when it was just cleaned I know how you feel ! I read on the internet that if you just keep on putting there poos in ther litter pan they should eventually get the message that thats where theyve go but it dosent seem to be working !

The idea with litter training is to put a hay rack above the litter tray, so that this is where they sppen a lot of time (and therefore pee etc!) If you cover this area too, they are likely to feel more secure, and hide in there, and use it to snooze in - again the more time they spend in thee, the more likely they will pee there.
I have a dedicated 2 x 3 hay/litter area upstairs in my cage, 75% of the poop and pee ends up there, and it is cleaned out daily. I have on a couple of occasions witnessed (to my great delight) a piggy go upstairs, have a pee in the litter area, then carry on as before!
Putting their poops in there will help them get the idea - one of my pigs has peed in the dustpan when Ive been sweeping out before - perhaps she recognised all the poops in there as being the place to go!

Thanks for the help !! My piggies 95 percent of the time pee in there but just poo anywhere ! Can you train them to poo in there to ? My problem is that when theyre in their cage they always pee in the box but when I open the wee door to let them run about my room they just pee all over my floor and I dont know how to stop that ?? Any ideas ?
Your Cage Rocks! So neat and clean and i love the color blue(i use it my self). My guinea pigs cage is 1x4 but i give him a lot of floor time.
