My outdoor cage - Guinea Pig Cages

Our grass is all natural with no pesticides or anything so I just let the piggies play, eat, and burrow in it. I keep them under a big shade tree and the grass keeps them cool. I make sure that they have plenty of water and grain if they want it. Bear, my golden retriever, stays out with the piggies
I put my piggies out on nice days too. I think it's healthier for them than being inside all the time. I do have one suggestion for you though. We have hawks here, and they don't think twice about swooping down to grab a critter, even with people around. So you might want to consider putting a top on your outdoor pen.

Yeah I let my boys out on nice days in the shade and have their outdoor hidey houses to go with them in a big pet fence that my parents used to use. I've been wanting to get bigger but my yard is only so big at my duplex.

Tipiman, she said her dog protects the pigs, and she's also provided a place for them to scamper underneath if they feel threatened. The dog is hardly even paying attention to them. My only thought is that you need to make sure no birds of prey decide to risk humans for a guinea pig dinner. Otherwise, I think it looks really nice.

i wouldnt trust the dog to keep all hawks away because one time i was taking my 20ib puggle(pug, beagle mix) bugsy out side in my yard and he was only like 40 ft away from me and a hawk started to swoop down to grab him luckily i noticed and started running toward bugsy and the hawk veered to other way,if a hawk tried to get bugsy with me out there one may try to get ur piggies if the dog is on the other side of the yard or sleeping

Well, I guess you know to watch for birds of prey, lol.
Snakes. I have seen several in my yard and one was eating a decent sized wild bunny. They are very quiet and dont give any warning. A lot can get thru those grids and they dislocate their jaws to swallow, so one that can get thru the grids can get a piggy.
Im giving you a 10 because some people rated you low without reading the info you provided. I see no reason for the pen to have a door unless you are less than 18 inches tall, my open ones dont have doors. Keep up the good work...

Cute piggies. I have a golden retriever who looks exactly like that and love to protect my piggies.

I bet they love their outdoor time. Its nice your dog has a love for your piggers too :)
