Henry's Cage - Guinea Pig Cages

In honor of our switch to fleece bedding, I've decided to post a picture of Henry's cage here. It's a 2 by 3 with a 1 by 2 upper deck. The upper deck is his "kitchen" with a homemade hay rack and a coroplast tray on the bottom to keep the fleece cleaner. Henry likes to sleep under the upp
Nice! I love the old t-shirts idea! Just make sure to take out that log though, he may love it but it isn't good for him. I bought 2 of them then through them out after I learned they weren't good for the pigs... oh well.
 
If it was my cage, the second floor walls i would make higher. I have climbers and they would be out of the cage in a heartbeat. good that the hay loft isnt beside a pigloo, caught one of my piggies in the hayloft looking up at me, needless to say, the hayloft came down...
 
Thanks, sorry for the very late reply. I took out the tunnel, and don't worry sewlittle. If Henry had his way he would never every leave his cage for exercise time. Besides, he's about 5 years old and can't jump or climb very high at all, not that he's tried haha! He's perfectly safe, but thanks, I do appreciate your concern.
 
Sorry, i ment are these tunnels piosonus? And why? Becuse i was planning to get A couple for my boys but now.....i just need the info, thats all. :)nice flees
 
They aren't poisonous, however, I learned that they aren't very good for cavies... Thanks and good luck!
