Mine do not chew them at all. At first I only let them lay on them under my supervision, like lap or floor time, but I've had them for over a month and they have shown no interest in the feathers. Since I have put them in the actual cage, they still do not chew on them. It may be a potential problem with some, even a lot, of pigs, but mine have never chewed the feathery bits. They just like to lay on the pillow. Obviously, everyone, if you do go out and buy these pillows, monitor your pigs to be sure they do not take a liking to chewing on the feather part!

Cute idea! I would cut the feathers of anyway as i know what my boys are like with theyre chewing
