i live in australia, in north queensland, the weather is beautiful 365 days a year. Winter? whats that? 65 degrees fareneheit is like 22 degrees celcius and would be night time weather in winter!
it gets to about 35 degrees celcius in summer here, on a bad day. dagwellismypigy
like all animals they aclimatise to their environment, the pigs were born here and have adjusted like im sure every other pig in the city has.
I think it looks great and I agree that piggies get use to the weather where they live as long as it is not too extreme. It is not common to see piggies living inside in Australia or the UK.
it's considered the norm to keep them outside, people would think you are batty for keeping them inside (or go, eww gross!), but really it's no worse, than rats, ferrets, cats (they have litter boxes inside) etc...it's a nice hutch, with loads of room for pigs
