I have tarps covering the floor, then mattress pads, then the fleece. I wash it all about once a week, but I do vacuum frequently. It's so big that it really doesn't get dirty much except around the edges, and they are only in there a couple hours a day.

I ordered them online, they are supposed to be ferret toys. I don't recommend the octopus, though- they can't actually get inside of it. It's designed for a ferret to burrow into, but the guinea pigs have no idea how to do that! The pink thing behind it is a cat bed, and the tunnel-type thing on the left is another ferret toy. There are also blue recycling bins turned upside down to make hidey houses.

I saw the octopus and the fish as petsmart when I was buying cage stuff and food and stuff like that and I didnt know weather they could fit in it or not. Do they go in the fish?
