I think it's lovely! As far as cats being able to get inside, a large adult cat can not reach through the bars very easily. For younger cats and ones that are predatory, this can be remedied by zip-tying bird netting (easily found in the garden section of a hardware store) around the cage. This is what I had to do to mine as one of our three cats is young and mischievious. Erin's mellow kitty doesn't look like he needs it as his interest in the cage is limited to using it as a bed.
