Cavy Home for Two! - Guinea Pig Cages

Here is our first attempt at a C&C cage. We included a hay loft, since I loved the idea. The ramp is made out of two bent grids with coroplast, towels, and fleece on top held on by binder clips. Thanks everyone! We use the fleece for about a week or so and then throw it in the washer (after dumping the beans and mess into the garbage). We've got two fleeces so that one can be used while the other's in the wash. They were about $20 or so each at a fabric store for 2 1/2 yards, which ended up being a bit more than we needed when we got it home and we had to cut it down to size. It works so well though, and I think looks much neater than bedding!

One thing I would like to add is that I have a similar cage and I bought small matching colorful rubbermaid containers for about $6 each at Target to store all of their supplies in. They look great slid under your storage cubicles at the bottom and it looks a lot less cluttered and more organized.
