Wow thats so amazing! Congrats on the new pigs and your cage is wonderful. So how many piggers are there total?

We’re up to five, now. Scooby and Velma have been joined by Daphne, Freddy, and Norville (a.k.a. Shaggy).

The piggies seem to be quite happy, although the little boys (Freddy and Shaggy) are pretty crazy—they keep bugging the older pigs (and each other). More than once, Shaggy has actually divebombed the others by getting a running start and jumping from the second floor directly to the first, clearing the entire ramp!

Update: some friends had a couple of sows that they needed to pass on to someone that could take better care of them, So we’re now up to three boys and four girls (the two new ones are Sparky and Oreo). Freddy and Shaggy never have figured out how to get along—they’ve actually drawn each other’s blood (as well as mine, when I tried to get between them)—so the upstairs and downstairs have been temporarily closed off from each other. Shaggy, Sparky, and Oreo live upstairs; Freddy, Daphne, Velma, and Scooby are downstairs. Everyone seems pretty happy, but I still wish I could let them all play together.

I love this cage! Shame about your two boys, Freddy and Shaggy not getting along, though. Great names for your piggers, too!

I am confused, but were you letting all 3 boys and the girls live together (I realise you have now seperated, therefore presuming it is the 3 boys upstairs). But if there are any girls and boys together, have they been fixed? I was under the impression that putting even two castrated males with a female would lead to a fight - but I do want to go and recheck!!

Just realised that this is actually a VERY old photo, I though the date was this July!
