thank you for posting a picture to show me how it opens. I'm going to be expanding my cage this summer, and have been toying with the idea of stacked cages. I dont use polar fleece, I use pine shavings for bedding.
That's the good thing about C& C cages, you can configure them to fit any space!

The tray is coroplast.

This cage is awesome ! But I was wondering how you got it to not sag if you use zip ties & how many grids total on the back

I used a 1x2 peice of wood to keep it from sagging. I only used zip ties. I didnt use any connectors. Im not sure what you mean by back. I used 27 grids for the back insluding the base.
