I really like the cage, and the storage system too. But I had a question about the stand/storage. I was thinking about doing that for the next cage I build, because I can't think of any surface in my home that could hold a 2x4 cage with upper level. My question though, is whether or not you find one grid off the ground a good distance. I have a large dog and cats too, and I don't want the dog sticking his face against the grids or the cats terrorizing the piggies.
