Boys new cage - Guinea Pig Cages

This is the boys cage. I got 3 sheets of white coroplast and use all 3 for the girls and boys cage.
Shouldn't you cover the tunnels? What if an adventurous piggie were to try and jump up there and get there foot stuck? Other than that, good job. I'm excited because I'm planning on introducing my new boar to my old one soon. Hope they get along!*crosses fingers*

Actually they all do well just like it is. They carefully put their foot up there and stand on it for hours. They love it. Crosses fingers too. I think they will be just fine.

you have great cages!!! but i have a question for you. can you introduce a young female to an older femal and can you introduce an unfamiler male into a whole group of males? is that safe?

You can if the new one is not a dominance male then you should be fine. I had no problem with 2 males with one.

Yes. where IS the hay? My girls prefer it on the floor of their pen rather than in a rack. Audrey, the youngest, tunnels under it while Bette and Marilyn are chomping away on the outside of the pile. They love to lay in it, forage in it and , of course, pee and poop in it so I change it often. Hay is a major staple in their diet!

My pigs have always had hay. That so happened that I was rebuilding the cage that day. I quickly took pics while the pigs are in.

I always picked up a bale and they get a load of it. Also I no longer have guinea pigs.
