There is an area under the 1/2 level loft for lounging. The pink thing is part of an old kids baby doll bed and a cavy cave on the opposite side. They hop onto the futon and in through the hole in the grid to get into the loft.
Yes, it was all fleece except for the hayloft (in another photo). I wish I still had this cage but it's been re-built a few times in the last 2+ years since these photos were taken.
