The door is made of the same 1/2" hardware cloth as the cage. They are attached with J clamps that serve as hinges. The latches are just standard cage door latches. The protective lining (to prevent scratches) is automotive door molding. It's very flexable and cheaper than traditional cage door liner. I found it at Auto Zone, and it came in a 10 foot roll.
