7281_-_2_story_cage_side - Guinea Pig Cages

(description continued)

Bedding is a layer of newspaper, then a layer of towels, then a microfleece blanket tucked over the chloroplast sides. (You can pick these blankets up pretty cheap at thrift stores.) I've also used fleece purchased from. The chloroplast sides measure as follows: downstairs –
Does the piggies not slide down the ramp when then are trying to get up?

What is the ramp made out of?

If they dont slide how not?

The ramp is a PVC pipe. You can see full details on how to make it on my website here: https://takecharge.hypermart.net/guineapigs.htm

They don't slide because I have a strip of fleece on it that's tucked in at the ends to hold it in place. It is the perfect thing for traction and I toss it in the wash every week along with the blankets and stuff. They run up and down the ramp all day long with no problem. They love it!
