2x4 with lid - Guinea Pig Cages

This is a 2x4 cage I made for an adopter. I used 2 wire shelves from Lowe's for the lid. For a 2x4, I had it pre-cut to a length of 5 feet (they will cut it any size). The shelving also comes in two widths, 12 and 16 inches. For use in a C&C, get the 16 inch kind.
Excellent! That is a very nice cage! How did you get the coroplast so straight!? Lol, I can never get it straight, it's a bit challenging for my scissor impaired self. Nice job, I was planning on making a cage just like yours, except with no top. :Before I saw this picture, it was going to be same color grids and corolplast: Well I think it's great!

ruby, use an ultility knife. it works better than sicors. it sould be in a tool box if your family has one,

Not too long ago I finally learned how to PROPERLY learn to make cages... lol, and I use a utility knife, and all my cages have been great since! My new cage, a 2x6, will be up sometime soon. I'm making this cage for one of my friends, lol.

Utility knife? I use coroplast cutters.. I have one to go along with the grain of the coroplast, and a different type to go against the grain.. O.O

It looks very professional! Nice Job. How much did it cost you for all the materials?
