This is the far end of the cage. This photo shows their futon which is 2 bent grids zip tied together then zip tied to the end of the expansion. The seat of the futon has red fleece on it.
I don't use this particular cage configuration anymore but that shelf was only about 5"-6" above the floor, they just jumped up there. It was a mid level shelf as you can see.
